Psalm 107:1-8 Amplified Bible (AMP)The Lord Rescues People from Many Troubles

1 O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His compassion and loving kindness endure forever!2. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary,3. And gathered them from the lands, From the east and from the west,From the north and from the south.4. They wandered in the wilderness in a [solitary] desert region; and did not find a way to an inhabited city.5. Hungry and thirsty, they fainted.6.   Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He rescued them from their distresses.7. He led them by the straight way, to an inhabited city [where they could establish their homes].8. Let them give thanks to the Lord for His loving kindness, And for His wonderful acts to the children of men!

Well Sorors, here we are again almost at the close of another year. As I look back over
this year I’ve been through a lot and you’ve been through a lot, but if I can tell the truth
for just a moment there were times this year that I did not want to give God thanks.
But it’s amazing how God orchestrate things, how ironic that I sit here speaking to my
Sorors about being thankful to God when there were periods in my life even right now
that I was not thankful to God at all.
I feel as though God was been unjust, unfair and just plain unkind to me. The hurts, the
pains, the trials and tribulations, the setbacks and frustrations and disappointments, the
broken heart and broken spirit I’ve suffered this year. I’ve cried and cried to the Lord
what good could come from this. With tears in my eyes I thank God for the Holy Spirit, for speaking to the heart of the

This scripture exhorts us the Children of the Most High God to praise Him for the
deliverance He gives us from our desperations. God responds to the distresses of His
people when we pray. Cry out to God with a sincere and earnest plea and He will show
up in the mist and intervene in our lives. Thank you oh Lord.
Rejoice and be Thankful that we serve a God that hears us and Loves us.

Be thankful to God for His deliverance, be thankful to God for His grace and mercy, be
thankful to God for His Son Jesus who gives us the victory over our adversary and all
our situations, be thankful to God that the joy of the Lord is our strength, be thankful to
God who heals us, be thankful to God that ALL things are working together for our
good, be thankful to God for His Word for it is He that inspired it, for it is God reveling to
us the truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes and training us how to live
Holy, be thankful to God for the Holy Spirit that is a Comforter unto our soul, Be
Thankful to God Because He Is Good.
For most of us this has been a trying year. But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us spreads and makes evident everywhere the sweet fragrance of the knowledge of Him.2 Cor. 2:14 - Amplified Bible (AMP) The above referenced scripture let us know that we are victorious in Christ, and God uses us everywhere we go to preach and teach and to make evident the Joy (the sweet fragrance) of the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.For this we are eternally thankful, for He choose us to minister His Word and to work in His Kingdom.

As I encourage you I encourage myself, Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into
his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. Psalm 100:4 – KJV, And
let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and
be ye thankful. Colossians 3:15 – KJV Let the Spirit of Thanksgiving (the expression of gratitude, especially to God.) rest, rule and abide in our hearts, soul and spirit forever is my prayer.
